The Code to Care campaign is aimed mainly at attracting software engineers in healthcare.

International electronics giant Philips, which today also focuses on healthcare, operating R&D centers employing hundreds of workers in Israel, is launching a global recruitment campaign. As part of this campaign, dozens of employees will be hired in Israel.

The Code to Care campaign (from code to medical treatment) is mainly aimed at attracting software engineers to the field of healthcare.

The company responded, "Philips provides software engineers with the opportunity to develop at the vanguard of medical technology, in a challenging work environment. The company's products enable data-based medical decision making, aimed at providing the patient with a more precise, tailored treatment, in fields such as rapid cancer diagnosis, treatment at the patient's home, instead of hospital, and the development of wearables that could provide warning regarding a heart attack."

Philips' Israel operations are located in Haifa and Petah Tikvah.
