Search and rescue services recovered the body of the last missing person from the disaster site in Ramat Hahayal.

On Saturday, the search and rescue forces recovered the body of the last missing person, killed in the collapse of the parking lot in Ramat Hahayal. Overall six people were killed in the incident and 23 were lightly wounded at the construction site since where the underground car parl collapsed last Monday.

In the past six days, forces worked around the clock to detect signs of life under the four floors of the underground car park, which collapsed to a depth of dozens of meters. 500 Home Front Command soldiers and officers have been working at the site, mainly personnel from the national Search and Rescue Unit, and the Ram and Tavor regular service battalions. The last three bodies were recovered during the weekend.

On Monday, around 11:30, the floor collapsed in the carpark, which was to be opened in about two months near Ramat Hahayal's Assuta Hospital. The parking lot collapsed into a four floor deep shaft; dozens of construction site workers were buried under the debris.

On Tuesday, Israel Police Tel Aviv District chief Moshe Edri decided that the Tel Aviv city police department Fraud Unit will investigate the collapse of the carpark. The unit's commander, Superintended David Mishkin, has established a special investigation team which will examine the failures which had probably led to the building's collapse. The investigation team will consult external advisers from the field of civil engineering.

On Thursday, the Knesset Labor, Welfare and Health Committee held an emergency session, with the participation of Ronen Ginzburg, CEO of Danya Cebus Ltd. (TASE: DNYA), the company building the carpark. "Although the discussion has focused on occupational safety, this case is not really related to an occupational safety incident. It probably involved an engineering defect," he said.
