Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been handing out ministerial portfolios to his Likud party colleagues ahead of the government's expected swearing-in ceremony this evening. Yuval Steinitz has been appointed Minister of National Infrastructures Energy and Water Resources. The former finance minister will be charged with the task of restarting stalled development of Israel's gas fields. Steinitz served as minister of intelligence in the outgoing government.
