Shekel-dollar rate moves lower

The most recent representative shekel-dollar exchange rate was NIS 4.245/$.

The shekel-dollar exchange rate is lower in morning trade, falling 0.82% to NIS 4.21/$, while the shekel-euro rate is up, rising 0.71% to NIS 5.3794/€.

The Bank of Israel did not set a representative exchange rate yesterday or the day before, due to the Purim holiday. On Monday, the representative shekel-dollar exchange rate was NIS 4.245/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set at NIS 5.3413/€.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) is set to open higher today, with pre-opening trade pointing to a 0.3% rise in the Tel Aviv 25 Index pointing to 654.32.
