ITL Optronics Ltd. (TASE: ITL) has won a follow-on contract from an East Asian country for night-vision systems. The company did not disclose the name of the customer.
ITL did not disclose the size of the order, but said that it was the third contract - from three separate Asian countries - in the past few days, and that the aggregate value of the contracts was NIS 20 million.
ITL will supply night-vision and laser equipment for ground forces. The orders will be delivered during 2009-10. The orders are at the company's average gross profit margin.
ITL's share rose 11.1% at the opening to NIS 8.20, giving a market cap of NIS 91 million.
