Deloitte seeks to extend chairman's term

Partners decided unanimously to ask Brightman to stay on.

Accounting firm Deloitte Brightman Almagor Zohar has decided to extend the term of its chairman, Igal Brightman, for three years beyond the firm's retirement age of 65.

At a meeting two days ago, partners decided unanimously to ask Brightman to stay on after retirement age, which he will reach next year, and to remain in his post until 2013.

Brightman told partners that he will consider the offer and give his response.
