Migdal's Anat Levin named Hapoalim deputy CEO

Levin's responsibilities will include management of Bank Hapoalim's nostro portfolio.

Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd. (TASE: MGDL) chief investment officer Anat Levin has been appointed deputy CEO of Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI), and will manage the bank's Global Treasury division. She is replacing Hapoalim head of global treasury Moti Szuszan.

Levin's responsibilities will include management of Bank Hapoalim's nostro portfolio. She was a candidate to replace Supervisor of Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Yadin Antebi, but turned the job down last November.

Levin is one of the most important voices in the capital market, and government regulators periodically seek her advice. She was a member of the Hodak committee on corporate bond offerings. She has an international reputation as well; "Project Finance Magazine" named the Amos 5 communications satellite financing deal, which she helped lead, as the deal of the year in 2009 in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
