Custeomer management and billing systems company Amdocs Ltd. (NYSE: DOX) will market and distribute the business transaction management (BTM) solutions of OpTier Inc. to Amdocs customers. OpTier's solution provides transparency and full monitoring of all business transactions, enabling telecommunications carriers - Amdocs customers - to manage their business support and operational systems more efficiently.
OpTier SVP worldwide sales Colin Rowland said, "Cooperation with a company like Amdocs will help us increase market share and to take our BTM solution to new markets. Service vendors operate in a competitive and rapidly changing environment. Our BTM system ensures that all parts of the information systems puzzle form a complete picture, which helps enterprises meet their business needs and the needs of their customers more efficiently and effectively."
Telecommunications carriers worldwide carry out upgrade, integration, and system centralization in business and operations support systems in order to lower costs, launch applications and new products quickly, and improve service for subscribers in order to keep a competitive advantage. OpTier says that its BTM solution enables the carriers to more efficiently manage their business support and operational systems, and to supervise in real time all activity underway in their self-service portals, cellular applications, billing, customer relations management, and call centers. The solution also allows carriers and vendors to make focused marketing initiatives and improve and speed up services for customers.
OpTier has its R&D department in Ramat Gan.
