PwC Israel to drop Kesselman & Kesselman name

The accountancy firm is changing its name as the international network rebrands.

Kesselman & Kesselman PricewaterhouseCooper Israel is rebranding and dropping the name Kesselman & Kesselman, which was the original name of the firm when it was founded in 1924.

The new name will help clients identify the firm with the international network and the international standards and methodologies it uses, according to PwC Israel managing partner, Avi Berger.

The Israeli rebranding comes as the international chain undergoes a rebranding and is introducing a new logo with pwc in lower case rather than the current PwC, although the official name of the global accounting chain will remain PricewaterhouseCooper.

PwC worldwide has 163,000 partners, managers and employees in 151 countries. PwC in Israel has 48 partners and 1,000 employees in branches in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and Omer near Beersheva.
