PrimeSense Ltd., which develops 3D sensing technology, has partnered with Taiwanese computer giant Asus to incorporate its Kinect motion sensing systems.

Asus announced that the WAVI Xtion multi-media system for PCs will be showcased at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show this week, but that it won't be commercially available until the second quarter of 2011.

Asus general manager Kent Chien said, “Asus combines its wireless cross-room solution with PrimeSense's simple, intuitive, gesture-based control technology to allow users to enjoy and share PC content on TV with gestures.”
