Surgical robot co Mazor reports first Michigan sale

The sale follows Mazor's expanded marketing activity and sales in the US for the SpineAssist system and its accessories.

Mazor Robotics Ltd. (TASE:MZOR) has sold its SpineAssist robotic system for spinal surgery to Metro Health Hospital in the Grand Rapids area of Michigan.

The sale follows Mazor's expanded marketing and sales activity in the US for the SpineAssist system and its accessories. The company has already installed the system at several hospitals in cities across the country. The sale to Metro Health Hospital is Mazor's first sale in Michigan.

Mazor's share price rose 2% by mid-afternoon today to NIS 9.75, giving a market cap of NIS 213 million.
