Low cost European airline easyJet plc (LSE: EJZ) is adding two weekly flights between Tel Aviv and London, Luton. The carrier already operates seven weekly flights on the route. Bookings can already be made for the new flights, which begin from November 1 2012.
From November 1 there will now be two flights each Monday and Thursday from Luton to Ben Gurion Airport leaving at 9.00 am and 11.30 am and reaching Israel at 4.00 pm and 6.30 pm respectively. On those days there will also be two flight leaving Israel for England taking off at 4.55 pm and 7.25 pm and landing at Luton at 8.30 pm and 11 pm. The price of tickets begins at $35.99 from Tel Aviv to Luton and $78.99 for the return leg.
easyJet began the Luton Tel Aviv route in 2009 and the flights have proven popular. The low cost carrier has since also added four weekly flights between Tel Aviv and Geneva and four weekly flights between Tel Aviv and Basel.
