Newvem, which enhances cloud usage effectiveness through data analytics, has announced the completion of a $4 million series A financing round. The company's round of funding was led by Greylock Partners with participation from Index Ventures and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors, as well as private investors including David Strohm, George Kadifa, and Maurice Werdegar. As part of this financing round, Erez Ofer from Greylock Partners is joining the Newvem board.
Newvem's KnowYourCloud Analytics service analyzes, reveals and recommends insights on Amazon AWS Cloud usage.
With the investment, Newvem will continue to enhance its KnowYourCloud Analytics to other public clouds.
Tel Aviv-based Newvem was founded in 2006 by CEO Zev Laderman and CTO Ilan Naslavsky.
