Customer management co Pontis raises $10m

Qualcomm Ventures led the round, joined by Accel Partners, Evergreen Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, and Norwest Venture Partners.

Marketing and customer management solutions developer Pontis Ltd. has raised $10 million. Qualcomm Ventures, the investment arm or Qualcomm Inc. (Nasdaq: QCOM), led the round, and was joined by current investors Accel Partners, Evergreen Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, and Norwest Venture Partners, as well as the company's current strategic investors. The company says that it will use the proceeds to strengthen its market leadership.

Pontis's solution allows communications carriers to deliver highly personalized offers to individual subscribers, to boost customer loyalty and satisfaction, lower churn rates and increase revenue. The company says that its solution is used by several tier-1 carriers, supporting over 250 million subscribers worldwide.

Pontis CEO Ronnie Kenneth said, “With carriers increasingly focusing their efforts on customer retention and user experience, the Pontis solution is becoming ever more relevant. The funding comes at time of fast growth and expansion for Pontis, as our solution is being adopted by more service providers across the globe and as we expand our offering."
