As "Globes" revealed, Endemol Ltd. is acquiring Kuperman Productions Ltd., which will be renamed Endemol Israel. Elad Kuperman will become CEO of the company. He will continue to be a shareholder in the company, while former Endemol chairman and CEO Ynon Kreiz will sell his 50% stake in Kuperman Production to the global giant. The Israeli branch will be Endemol's first in the Middle East.
Kuperman Productions was founded in 2005 by Elad Kuperman. The company's productions include "Traffic Light", which was sold to Fox TV in the US and to Russia's CTC; and "Honey, Please!", which was sold to GSN (Game Show Network) in the US. "The Successor - The next Uri Geller" reality show has been sold to Germany's ProSeiben, the Netherland's SBS6 and Hungary's 2TV, and an American version, "Phenomenon" has been broadcast on NBC and sold to Canada's CTV and Australia's Channel 9.
Endemol is the world's largest independent production and digital content company. The Amsterdam-based company comprises a global network of over 80 companies in 31 countries. Every year, it produces 350 series in a range of genres, including entertainment, reality, game shows, comedy, drama, sports, children's shows, documentary, docudrama, and full-length feature films.
