Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI) (TASE: ARSP.B1) has displayed a wide spectrum of advanced total maritime solutions at the IMDEX Asia International Maritime Defense Exhibition & Conference in Singapore (May 14-16).
IAI's advanced multiple-intelligence concept for Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) protection will be showcased during the exhibition. Developed by IAI unit ELTA Systems Ltd. this comprehensive and unique solution provides valuable coverage of a broad maritime area. The system relies on coastal, aerial, space and naval-based sensors combined with an intelligence infrastructure layer. All sensors are interconnected through a command, control and communications network, providing integrated broad area surveillance, situational awareness and intelligence exploitation capabilities.
IAI's LAHAV group also exhibited its Skimmer- integrated naval helicopter package. Designed to provide optimal solutions for naval helicopter future mission requirements, this unique package integrates advanced mission systems, sensors and avionics.
IAI's RAMTA unit displayed its Mini Dvora - a multi-mission fast patrol boat for Homeland Security (HLS) and Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) security missions. This new light fast patrol boat offers an exclusive combination of high speed, exceptional maneuverability under extreme harsh weather conditions and high seas, excellent range and endurance, state-of-the-art human-engineering and low operational costs over time. The boat's unique structure allows it to perform missions in shallow coastal waters as well as in deep water.
IAI's display also included radar systems such as the NAVGUARD Self-Protection System, which provides an affordable and low-detection protection system for small and medium combat ships, allowing safe passage and patrol in areas which were previously denied due to missile threats.
IAI's Heron UAS maritime patrol airborne solution, payloads and further advanced defense systems was also on display.
