The maximum price for a journey on the Tel Aviv fast lane is rising today from NIS 75 to NIS 85. According to the company's concession from the government, the maximum toll that the fast lane operator is legally allowed to charge for a journey into Tel Aviv is NIS 104.
The Tel Aviv fast lane operator claims that it has decided to limit the maximum price to NIS 85. The operator stresses that the toll is dynamic, and changes according to the number of vehicles entering the lane in order to ensure that journey speeds are high and travel time is short.
The company says that during the morning rush hour from 6am-10am the average toll is NIS 28.
