Agrovita has been Makhteshim's distributor in Slovakia for 22 years.
Agrochemicals maker Makhteshim Agan Industries Ltd. has acquired Slovakian distributor Agrovita spol sro for an undisclosed amount. Makhteshim previously acquired Agrovita's Czech business in 2007.
Agrovita, founded in 1991, is one of the top five distributors of crop protection products in Slovakia and has served as Makhteshim's representative and business partner in Slovakia for 22 years. With a focus on fungicides, herbicides and insecticides, Agrovita distributes a wide range of Makhteshim products as well as developing some of its own products.
