Low cost carrier easyJet plc will launch a new route between Tel Aviv Ben Gurion airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, starting March 30 2015.
Tickets are on sale from today with fares from Tel Aviv to Paris starting at €45.99 (taxes included, one direction).
The airline will operate three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The new route will become easyJet’s ninth from Tel Aviv and will enable it to fly more than half a million passengers a year into and out of Israel on 37 weekly departures to London (Gatwick), London (Luton), Manchester, Geneva, Basel, Rome, Milan, Berlin, and now Paris.
easyJet Israel commercial manager Neil Slaven said, “We are delighted to offer this route between Tel Aviv and Paris. The French capital is a fantastic destination to add to the easyJet network from Tel Aviv and this service will offer affordable, convenient connections for those travelling on business, leisure or simply visiting friends and relatives. Furthermore the introduction of this service reiterates easyJet’s commitment to Tel Aviv and our intent to continue offering Israeli passengers the destinations they want."
easyJet launched Tel Aviv routes in 2009 and the opening of this new route is aligned with easyJet’s strategy to be no. 2 in the Israeli market.
