The attack took place at south Tel Aviv's Panorama building.

Two people have been killed and another person sustained medium injuries in a terrorist stabbing attack in south Tel Aviv. The attack took place in the early afternoon in a car park outside a synagogue near the Panorama building on Ben Zvi Street, the main highway linking the Kibbutz Galuyot Interchange with Jaffa. Those attacked were reportedly reciting the afternoon Mincha prayer.

Eyewitnesses say that two terrorists carried out the attack and that while one of them had been caught, after being overcome by civilians and police, the second had escaped. However, after investigating the matter the police concluded that only one terrorist was involved. The assailant is a Palestinian from Hebron who was in Israel illegally.

Magen David Adom ambulances arrived swiftly on the scene but found one of the victims - a 32 year old man - already dead. A second victim, also in his thirties, was rushed to Ichilov Hospital with stab wounds to the upper part of his body and was later pronounced dead.

The victim with medium injuries has also been hospitalized, and several other people in the vicinity of the attack were treated for shock.
