Businessman Yoram Globus, owner of GG Studios in the Channel 2 studio complex in Neve Ilan is in talks to sell the complex to Miki Vardi’s Reality Investment Fund. The complex is 60,000 square meters, with 30,000 square meters of office space. Half of the complex is rented to Channel 2 Studios and the “Big Brother” house, and the other half to various companies, primarily in the high-tech sector.
According to estimates, the value of the complex is between NIS 180-200 million, but the details of the deal have not yet been outlined, including an option to buy just half of the complex. The annual revenue that the deal is expected to yield, whether for the entire complex or half of it, is 7%. Businesses that rent offices in the complex, other than Channel 2, include SatLink, Erroca, and Dori Media Group, among others. Going rates for rent range between NIS 50-60 per square meter.
