Sources inform "Globes" that Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) controlling shareholder Shari Arison has presented newspaper articles to State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss to back up her claims against Governor of the Bank of Israel Prof. Stanley Fischer and Supervisor of Banks Rony Hizkiyahu.
Arison claimed, among other things, that the two leaked information about Arison's duel with the Bank of Israel, regarding the demand to fire Hapoalim chairman Dan Dankner.
Arison turned to Lindenstrauss, claiming that Fischer and Hizkiyahu acted improperly by demanding Dankner's ouster without clearly listing the claims against him.
The Bank of Israel says that Arison's claim that neither she nor her lawyers knew what was being referred to is wrong.
