IT integrator Yael Group plans hiring over 170 new employees in 2010, after recruiting more than 100 new employees in 2009. The recruitment drive has already begun with 20 new employees taken on so far this year.
Most of the new employees have been located through word of mouth by employees bringing in acquaintances. Employees who successfully recruit in this way receive a NIS 3,000 bonus or luxury vacation.
Yael Group CEO Nati Avrahami said, "The recruitment certainly shows us that there is a recovery and demand for the professional services in the sector in which we operate."
Among the sectors in which Yael is seeking professionals are: DBA Oracle/SQL Server infrastructures and applications; Cobol and Magic software analysts; Q.A. software examiners; MF software specialists; java/j2ee software specialists; NET software specialists; systems analysts; Oracle applications and developers; systems and information security personnel; and project managers.
