Flight Medical Innovations Ltd. (TASE: FLGM) has signed a three-year exclusive distribution deal for the marketing of its Flight 60 portable ventilator in California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii. The company expects sales to begin before the end of 2010.
The company began developing the Flight 60 portable ventilator, which is suited for patients from infants to adults, in 2007. It measures exhalation volume, can be programmed via a touch screen, and can operate autonomously for up to 12 hours. The Flight 60 received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in August and the EU CE Mark in January.
The company's share price was unchanged today at NIS 0.43.
