Radcom wins $6.5m follow-on Latin American mobile carrier deal

The network service assurance provider reported that the orders were placed by several of the carrier's regional operators.

Radcom (Nasdaq: RDCM) a network service assurance provider, today announced that it has received additional orders worth $ 6.5 million from one of Latin America's major multinational mobile carriers. The company reported that the orders were placed by several of the carrier's regional operators.

Radcom said that the rising business from the carrier reflected its decision to standardize on Radcom's advanced Omni-Q as a comprehensive solution for controlling many aspects of service quality.

radcom added that the deal is an integral part of its strategy of building relationships with multi-national telecommunications groups that can implement Radcom's unique tools across their operators. Radcom noted that since the Latin American operator is one of the region's most advanced operators, the company's comprehensive is ideal because it provides one platform for all technologies on their network.

Radcom president and CEo David Ripstein said, "This strategic deal by this multi-national group improves our visibility, making us even more confident in our product and marketing strategy. These deals confirm that we are well positioned with the right technology, in a high-potential market."

Radcom's share price jumped 12.08% in morning trading on Nasdaq to $3.99, giving a market cap of $24.84 million.
