100 Israeli cos to exhibit at Tel Aviv's Cybertech

Hundreds of overseas delegations, companies, and investors will attend the conference - the world's second largest - on Jan 26/27.

Cybertech the world's second largest cyber event will take place for the third time on January 26-27 in the new Pavilion 2 of the Tel Aviv Convention Center. The event, which will bring together investors, entrepreneurs, and companies in the cyber sector, consists of a conference attended by the most senior spokesmen in the sector and a huge exhibition with 250 companies, 100 of which are Israeli startups presenting their most recent and innovative developments for meeting cyber threats and the challenges facing companies in all fields.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who founded the Israel National Cyber Bureau in the Prime Minister's Office for the purpose of making Israel the global leader in cyberwar, will open the conference. Other speakers at the opening session will include National Cyber Bureau head Dr. Eviatar Matania, US Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, CyberArk Software Inc.(Nasdaq:CYBR) founder and CEO Udi Mokady, and senior HP and IBM executives.

Also speaking at Cybertech will be Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy, and Water Resources Yuval Steinitz, US state governors, ministers from all over the world, global cyber figures, and senior executives in corporations from five continents. Knesset cyber lobby head MK Erel Margalit (Zionist Union) will lead a discussion of the cyber issue by members of parliaments from all over the world.

Hundreds of delegations from around the world, major companies, and foreign investors will visit Israel for the conference and its accompanying exhibition in order to catch up on the newest cyber technologies. Among the delegations will be a huge one from Japan looking for suitable cyber defense technology for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and a delegation of technology specialists from the US Department of Homeland Security, headed Mayorkas. An especially large delegation from countries with developing economies sponsored by the International Monetary Fund will also arrive, as well as a Canadian delegation that will include all the country's leading bankers.

In addition to the opportunity to learn about the latest innovations and solutions in the Israeli and international cyber communities, the exhibition and conference will also present strategic solutions to the many challenges posed by cyber attacks in a broad range of sectors, such as finances, security, transportation, services, research and development, energy, manufacturing, health, government, communications, etc.

The conference will serve as a platform for business connections between companies, with an emphasis on strengthening existing alliances and creating new connections between investors, senior industrial figures, government representatives, cyber specialists, military personnel, decision-makers, hackers, innovation opinion leaders, startup personnel, corporate leaders, information systems managers in organizations from all economic sectors, foreign attaches, ambassadors, overseas delegations, etc.
