Workforce and attendance management software developer Synel Industries Ltd. (TASE: SNEL) will provide attendance data for the Workers Beer Company (WBC) at the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts.
The festival, which according to Synel is the biggest music festival in the world, with hundreds of thousands of visitors, will be held June 23-27 in the UK.
WBC provides bar services to festivals and events.
The system is based on Synel's Schedule Master module for its Harmony employee management system. During the festival, the system will collect data from SY-765 Mifare terminals through Wi-Fi connectivity, processing the attendance data and comparing actual versus planned attendance. 1200 festival employees will use pre-printed Mifare ID cards to record their attendance. The Harmony system will also produce meal vouchers for the employees, taking into account actual worked hours.
