Internet video technology company Oversi said that it has deployed a 100 Gbps net cache out system for Thailand internet service provider True Internet.
True Internet CTO Dr. Viriya Upatising said that capacity, measured by net cache out, and efficiency, measured by hit ratio, are the most important parameters for a caching system, determining its value to the operator.
Upatising said, "The OverCache system enables us to provide the greatest Internet Video Quality of Experience (QoE) to our customers." Upatising added that Oversi's OverCache system is "the only solution that can scale to support our network of hundreds of Gbps."
Oversi president and CEO David Tolub said, "Reaching 100 Gbps is a milestone, but OverCache has unlimited scalability, and we are ready for the next challenge.”
