Workforce management and access control system developer Synel Industries Ltd. (TASE: SNEL) said that a Mexico affiliate has installed an access control system for the British consulate in Mexico City.
Synel said that the project is installed, implemented and supported by a Synel representative in Mexico, Mexico City-based Altec de Mexico, SA de CV, through Synel Americas.
The 3-story British consulate provides English language and cultural classes in Mexico City, and being an extension for the British embassy, highly secured access control, into and within the facility, is of paramount importance. There is an average of 85 people in the building at any given time.
The system is based on Synel’s Falcon Pro Access Control software and readers, which provide a cost effective solution for reliable identification, and help keep track of influx of faculty staff, students enrolled and visitors, allowing the consulate security staff to print their own badges, integrate with CCTV and import digital images.
The installation at the British Consulate joins most of Israel’s embassies around the world, which are equipped with Synel’s terminals and software solutions.
Synel shares have risen 32% so far in 2010.
