Israel Seed Partners general partner Michael Eisenberg tops "Forbes Israel" Midas list

Nahum Sharfman, Dr. Shimon Eckhouse, Giora Yaron, Yuval Shahar, Benny Schnaider, Haim Sadger, and Rona Segev-Gal also made the list.

Israel Seed Partners general partner Michael Eisenberg, serial entrepreneur and Shopping.com and Commtouch co-founder Nahum Sharfman, Syneron Medical and Lumenis founder Dr. Shimon Eckhouse, serial entrepreneur and P-Cube co-founder Dr. Giora Yaron, P-Cube co-founders Yuval Shahar and Benny Schnaider, Sequoia Capital Seed Fund partner Haim Sadger, and Pitango and Evergreen partner Rona Segev-Gal are the top eight in the "Forbes Israel" Midas list for 2004.

They are responsible for four exits with an aggregate value of $200 million.

The "Forbes Israel" Midas list ranks high-tech investors and entrepreneurs who at least twice been able to make money from an investment in a private technology company that was floated or sold in 2004 for at least $50 million.

The entrepreneurs in the Midas list are either the company's founders, or played a significant role in the company as investors and were one of the reasons for its success.

As a partner in Israel Seed Partners, Eisenberg helped float Shopping.com (Nasdaq: SHOP), which reached a market cap of $810 million after its first day of trading, and GuruNet (AMEX:GRU), which reached a market cap of $11 million on its first day.
