Israeli defense electronics company Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) announced today that its cyber security subsidiary CYBERBIT Ltd. was recently awarded two contracts. One of the contracts was awarded by the National Police of a European country, and the second contract was awarded by a law enforcement agency of an African country. Each of the contracts will be performed over a two-year period. The contracts are not of material value for Elbit Systems.
CYBERBIT, established several months ago, is comprised of Elbit Systems cyber activities, and includes the recently acquired Cyber and Intelligence division of NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE), which was awarded the above-mentioned contracts.
CYBERBIT solutions provide law enforcement agencies, intelligence organizations and signal intelligence (SIGINT) agencies with end-to-end tools for creating communication intelligence on all known media and devices. CYBERBIT’s solutions address the entire intelligence cycle, including collection, processing, analysis and visualization.
CYBERBIT general manager Adi Dar said, "We are pleased with the award of these two contracts that attest to the innovative capabilities of CYBERBIT’s SIGINT systems, which integrate our advanced TARGET 360 interception platform with cutting edge cyber domain collection capabilities. I believe this unique operational concept, as well as the most advanced technologies which are the core of the system, will encourage additional customers to follow and select our systems."
